Josh Becker co-wrote Human Chains with Rob Tapert (Xena Warrior Princess) which was re-titled to Alien Apocalypse for the film.  Becker has written and directed other feature films including If I Had a Hammer (1999) and Running Time (1997).

In addition to his film work, Becker has also worked and written for television shows. He wrote 2 episodes and directed several episodes of Xena Warrior Princess.  He also directed episodes of Jack of All Trades (starring Bruce Campbell).
